Job Summary: Waiter/Waitress
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and managing guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and present menus.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
- Answer questions about the menu, daily specials, and dietary options.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and set up properly before and after service.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Process customer payments and issue receipts.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar staff to provide excellent service.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
